APG also sponsored a presentation with Professor Zhaomin Liu, from the School of Public Health in Sun Yat-Sen University. In her presentation, "Soybean, Nuts and Blood Glucose Control," she spoke about the many nutritional benefits of eating pistachios, as well as the research findings that showed American pistachios are a complete protein.

Then, on November 30, APG held a media event with Professor Linna Shi from the Department of Nutrition, in Nanfang Hospital of Southern Medical University, and star host of Guangzhou Traffic Radio Station, Daniel Deng. Michael Francom, director of the ATO Guangzhou office, opened the event with welcome remarks. Professor Linna Shi expounded on the importance of nuts and health, and spoke about American pistachios' positive effect on controlling blood glucose levels, reducing the risk of heart disease, and providing complete protein benefits. Star host of Guangzhou Traffic Radio Station, Daniel Deng, talked about "Eating Happy and Delicious Nuts." He focused on American pistachios' complete protein benefits and then shared how to incorporate American pistachios into Cantonese cuisine.

During the month of November, APG held a series of "Virtual Harvest Tour and Chef Cook-Alongs" to raise consumer awareness of the food versatility of pistachios as families are preparing meals at home during the COVID-19 pandemic and focusing on holiday meal planning.
